Stage description

The trail runs close to the road through some woods and meadows and is mostly dry. After about 5 kilometers, you walk a few hundred meters along the road and then turn right again. The trail markings are not as clear from this point on, but the path always runs between the road and the Cabardosjohka. After leaving the river to the south, you’ll reach the former Kautokeino Airport, and you’ll approach the town via its runway. Passing the parking lot and the modern school, and crossing a bridge over the Kautokeinoelva, you’ll then enter the town.
