After the hut, the E1 continues eastward (an alternative route heads west to Joatkajavri Fjellstue and from there westward past Lesjavri to Mollesjohka Fjellstue). The official trail is very easy, dry, and pleasant to walk on. Since the trail runs slightly higher than Lake Lesjavri, it offers beautiful views of the lake, and there are no more mosquitoes. The only challenge is the three river crossings over the Gasadatjohka, the Likcajohka, and the Mollesjohka. The water is knee-deep in all three rivers, but the crossings aren’t particularly difficult. The last of the three rivers is the largest, but since the riverbed consists of many small stones, you can wade across quite steadily. You can see the Mollesjohka Fjellstue from a distance; its red color stands out clearly against the surrounding green forest. Before you get there, you have to cross the Mollesjohka one more time. Apparently, there’s also a bridge a little further south, but I didn’t find it.
