N.B.: We don't have an English description of the stage just yet. We'll give you the German version for now until the English version is ready.

Diese kurze Etappe zwischen den beiden offenen Hütten in Norwegen und Finnland hat auf ihren 3 km einiges zu bieten: neben dem Grenzübertritt gilt es einen Rentierzaun zu übersteigen sowie die drei bis vier Arme des Sieiddejohka zu queren. Zumindest bei zweien der Flussarme ist es angebracht, die Watschuhe anzuziehen. Je nach Wasserstand kann man im Spätsommer auch über Steine gehen.

    The E1 follows the Nordkalottruta / Nordkalottleden - except some smaller parts - from Kautokeino (E1 stages 01.16) close to Sulitjelma (E1-Etappen 07.08 / 08.01). The book describes the trail in detail from Kautokeino to Abisko and in shortform to an exit in Sulitjelma.
