Stage description

For the most part running together with the Heidschnuckenweg, the E1 passes through some of the most attractive landscapes in the North Heath: the Brunsberg, the Büsenbachtal (but only slightly touched) and the upper reaches of the Seeve between Handeloh and Wehlen. The dominant element of this stage, however, are the forest trails, on which the E1 runs mainly here.

Büsenbachtal

If you don't mind additional kilometres, we recommend a stroll through the Büsenbach valley. A detour towards the end of the valley is always worthwhile. Numerous places alongside the brook invite to have a break or a little footbath. In Wörme there are several restaurants and a stop of the "Heidesprinter" (a local train).
