Um zur Lomihytta weiterzuwandern folgt man der Straße es Stück bergab, ehe es links abgeht, bergauf Richtung Lomihytta. Wer den Aufenthalt in Ny-Sulitjelma nutzt, um einkaufen zu gehen, folgt der Straße weiter bergab, etwa 4 km in den Ort Sulitjelma. Von hier aus kommt man auch per Bus nach Fauske, um in die Wandertour ein- oder aus ihr auszusteigen.
