Hærvejen
The European long-distance path E1 runs in southern Denmark between Vrads and Padborg on the ancient road Hærvejen. The trail is partly based on the historic Ox Trail, a trade route between Viborg in Denmark and Wedel (near Hamburg) in Germany.
The E1 continues north along the Silkeborg - Horsens and Århus - Silkeborg hiking trails. In the south it reaches the German border near Padborg.
