Am Ortsende von Scheggia links ab Richtung La Pineta. In der Kurve biegt man nach rechts ab und folgt diesem spärlich markierten Weg, bis er auf einen befestigten Weg mündet. Diesem folgt man nach rechts immer aufwärts, dann wieder kurz abwärts. Man folgt durch Buchenwald immer dem Hauptweg. Diesen verlässt man nach geraumer Zeit links aufwärts. Kurze Zeit später folgt man der Markierung 2 steil aufwärts bis zum Waldrand. An einer Abzweigung folgt man der Markierung 2A. Nun abwärts, bis rechts ein Refugio auftaucht. Weiter geht es nach Val di Ranco.
